AL JAZEERA 101 EAST- BERSIH RALLY FORUM
Its time to "brace ourselves for a whole lot of ugly from a parade of stupid" (from Hairspray - the musical). How true. First we have our info minister with his mispronounced "elections" and now these two "towering intellectuals" showing their prowess on Al-Jazeera. What next?
As for Mr. Malik Imtiaz Sarwar, I would like to shake your hand, sir.

WAYAR DAH PUTUS IN PARLIAMENT
When are we ever going to see an intelligent debate of the issues in Parliament? All we got for our money so far was a demonstration of how not to solve a problem , ie shout down the debate, skirt around the issue and if all else fails, threaten violence. Each one of us is blessed with a brain. Do not leave home without it.

THERE GOES OUR RANKINGS
Yup, our FIFA rankings are down, our University rankings are down and mark my words our DUREX rankings will be way way down if what our Info Minister say is true, " we have erections once every 5 years". Now we know who is the culprit bringing down our national average. On the other hand, minister sir, maybe you should learn not to roll your L's when pronouncing "elections" because it can cause widespread panic. I mean it will be like waiting for the return of Haley's comet.
WHY SCREWDRIVERS ARE SO EXPENSIVE
Is it possible that they did not purchase screwdrivers but were paying for two services combined? Since the costs have to be recovered, the parties may have agreed to backcharge to the client as screws plus driver or screwdrivers in short. What is the financial justification to disburse up to 75% of a contract sum for six ships and not receive even one fully commissioned unit ? It would be interesting how much they charge for the "screwdrivers" in there...

Public Service
What is the difference between Customer Service in the private sector and the public sector?
In the private sector, we pride ourselves in customer satisfaction, full refunds not questions asked and if another similar complaint is received it would be cause for an investigation to identify and rectify the problem. In the public sector, if 2,000 concerned citizens complained about an issue it is considered a small minority and ignored. If 40,000 concerned citizens complained about an issue they are considered a public nuisance and no attempt is made to focus on the issues raised. All is however not lost. Kudos to our top civil servant for his swift and decisive action following his visit to MPAJ. We do hope Tan Sri that your actions will set the standard that will be adopted by your political masters. Wag the dog so to speak. You and your team have our respect, support and best wishes.

RUSSIANS TO SELL US SOYUZ SPACECRAFT
"Russia has offered to sell the spacecraft which took our angkasawan to space. It could be displayed at a site to be set up to mark Malaysia's success in sending a Malaysian to space". Well, 30 years ago I left my hometown to come to KL to start my career. I came in an old creaky bus. I didn't drive the bus, I was just a passenger. Maybe I should buy that old bus and park it in my yard to inspire my kids....or to breed mosquitos.
